Julie Stewart

A mighty witness for God has gone to Heaven. Julie Diane Williamson Stewart died on August 4, 2017, at the age of 57, at home near Hayden, Alabama, after a long battle with cancer. She was a loving wife, a registered nurse, and a powerful teacher of Christian truth. She was most well known as an amazing church pianist for 40 years. Diane is survived by her husband of 35 years, Gary Stewart; daughter, Katie Caldwell and husband Matt; daughter, Holly Adams and husband Jonathan; son, Matthew Stewart and wife Jessica; and son SN David Stewart, USN. She is also survived by her mother, Louise Williamson; her sister, Kelly Bryant and husband Mike; five grandchildren and many other relatives. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 7, at 1 pm at First Baptist Church of Hayden. A visitation at the church will be from 10 am until the funeral hour. Burial will follow the service at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Hamilton, AL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.
