Judith Marie "Judy" Nichols, age 51, of Pell City, passed away June 5, 2010. She attended Woodlawn High School and was surrounded by many friends and family in Wattsville and Pell City. She had lived in Alabama most of her life and was well loved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her sister Karen Louise Nichols. She was a devoted sister and was the most compassionate and sharing Christian, ever giving, ever loving and always true. Her belief was "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". She donated all her organs because of our sister who is blind and with God's Grace the only viable organs were her eyes. Her wishes were to be cremated and spread upon the relatives gone by. Services will be on Wednesday June 8, at 12pm at Rose Hill Baptist Church on Alton Road. She is survived by her everlasting love and faithful partner Douglas Wayne Smith, daughters Heather (Casey) Griffith, and Christina , sisters Donna Campbell of Pell City, Sharon Cobb of Rossville GA, Belinda Lee (Pat) Muncher, Kelly Lynn Addison of Birmingham, 3 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. "To my mom who strived to let me and my sister know how much she loved me and how proud she was to have a daughter like me. With all my eternal love Heather."
