Juanita Warren

Juanita Anne Warren (Nita / “Nene"), age 83, entered her heavenly home on December 1, 2021.

She loved spending time with her family, reading, and watching Alabama Football. She was the grandest “Nene” ever to her 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren who were her absolute pride and joy!

Nita is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Warren, Sr. (“Papa”); parents Oliver Amos and Hazel Parker; sister Geraldine Amos; and brother Ronald Amos. She is survived by her children Lonnie Warren (Amy) and Tammy Colee (Eric); grandchildren, Leslie Palmer (Scott), Jennifer Lovitte (Joe), Erica Gray (Bret), Alex Colee, and Drew Warren; great-grandchildren, Toree Gorham, John Wesley Gorham, Tyler Donald, Raye Donald, Avery Gray, Ethan Lovitte, Memphis Gray, Zoey Lovitte, and Josie Gray; step-father Mel Parker (Faye); sister-in law, Lea Amos; nephews Martin Amos and Chad Amos.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with a visitation for friends from 12:00 PM until the time of the service. Burial will immediately follow the chapel service at Jefferson Memorial’s adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
