Juanita Ogle

Juanita Ogle, age 82, passed away on May 30, 2018. She was a longtime resident of Homewood, Al. She attended Glen Iris Baptist Church. She loved playing games with her friends. Juanita was a huge Alabama fan and enjoyed watching the Saturday games. She enjoyed attending local events. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Ogle; her parents, Donald and Elsie Drake; son, Curtis Lee Acton Jr.; sister, Carolyn Traina. She is survived by her daughters, Annette Thrasher (Mike) and Kim Thornton; sisters, Helen Acton (Richard) and Doris Milford; grandchildren, Christina Wheeler (Rusty), Ryan Howard (Tiffany), and Brittany Davis; great-grandchildren, Chasity Wheeler, Alexie Wheeler, Katlin Wheeler, and Kennedi Howard. A visitation will be held at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville, Al on Saturday June 2, 2018 from 1pm – 2pm with the service following at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Glen Iris Baptist Church at 1137 10th Place S. Birmingham, Al 35205.
