Juanita Howington

Juanita Dove Howington, age 83, of Springville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 18, 2015. She was a member of Walker Chapel United Methodist Church. She worked with Eastern Heating and Cooling for a number of years along with being a homemaker. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, and Nana. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Richard W. Howington; her parents, Lilly Mae and Walter Dove; 3 brothers and 4 sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Bonita Hall (Jay); grandchildren, Scott Hall (Amber) and Todd Hall (Dana); 5 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015 from 5-7pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 11:00am at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Bro. Dewey Corder will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers are: Scott Hall, Todd Hall, Floyd Plummer, Donald Bowman, Scott Perry, Daniel Perry. In lieu of Flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society Birmingham Office.
