Juanita Brasher

Mrs. Juanita Drake Brasher, age 91, of Birmingham was born on September 12, 1923 and passed away on October 7, 2014. She was a retired secretary for UAB Hospital and was a member of Deerfoot Baptist Church. Mrs. Brasher was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Judge Brasher. She is survived by her daughters, Nita B. Durant (James) of Hoover, AL, Pauline B. Parsons (John) of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren, James Parsons (Noelle) of Iowa City, IA, Jennifer Parsons of Vernal, UT, Samantha Martin of Atlanta, GA, Casey Robinson (Andrea) of Tampa, FL; and her great grandchildren, Cosette and Matilda Parsons. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014 at Jefferson Memorial Trussville at 2:00pm, with Pastor Wayne Scott officiating. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the funeral service.
