Joyce Pilkinton

Joyce Clower Pilkinton of Trussville passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the age of 84. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lula and Edgar Clower, and grandson, Tyler Guge. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Dan Pilkinton; children, Glynda Grier (Carson), Tommy Wright (Cathy), Steve Wright (Denise), Kelly Lloyd (Rick) and Gail Guge (Brett); brother, Ed Clower (Diane); 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; cousins, nieces, nephews, and many special caregivers. Mrs. Pilkinton was a member of Huffman United Methodist Church and the Friendship Class for 50 years. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 24, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will follow at 11:00 AM in the chapel. Burial will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Reverend Ed Sims will be officiating over the services.
