Joyce Israel

Joyce Thompson Israel, 75 of Hoover passed away on November 15, 2009. Joyce will be remembered as an avid Alabama football fan and sharing the love of her life which was her grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 17 from 5:00 i�½" 7:00 Pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 18 at 1:00 Pm with Pastor Michael Dowling officiating in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mildred Thompson and one brother, Russell Thompson. Survivors include her two sons, Walt Israel (Anita) and Kevin Israel (Bonnie); one daughter, Donna Israel; two brothers, Jack Thompson and Roy Thompson (Frances); eight grandchildren, Noah Bowman (Sonya), Shannon Holden, Michael Israel, Daniel Holden, Jessica Israel, David Sweatman, Paige Israel and Stephanie Sweatman.
