Joyce Hobbs

Ellen Joyce Hobbs of Trussville Al. passed away at the age of 86 on July 11th, 2019. She was a member of Deerfoot Baptist Chruch. She was a former member of 85th St. Baptist Church and Eastmont Baptist Church. She attended Woodland H.S. where she was head acrobatic cheerleader, best senior athlete, best all around senior. She was an active bowler all of her adult life. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Robert H. Hobbs; her parents, William B. and Sara E. Wallace; brother, William Earl Wallace. She is survived by her children; Robert E. Hobbs (Jean), Jada and Joy Hobbs; grandson, Stephen Hobbs; sister-in-law, Peggy Sue Wallace. Visitation will be July 14th, 2019 from 5-7 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral home. Service will be Monday July 15th, 2019 at 10 am at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with graveside to follow.
