Joyce Gilmore

Joyce Gilmore, 81, of Birmingham, AL passed away on July 21, 2017. Service will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, July 23rd. Visitation will be at 1:30, service at 2:30 pm. Burial following at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Joyce is survived by her husband of 63 years, Sonny Gilmore, daughter Vicki Churchill, daughter Cindi Glenn (Scott), son, Milton Gilmore (Laura), grandson David (Sarah Corinne) & Will Glenn, D.J. Hamilton, granddaughter Megan Bush (A.J.), great grandchildren Skylar & Levi Bush. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, Fronnie & Will Horsley, brother, Arvil Horsley, Sister, Janice Graves. Joyce spent her life volunteering. She served at Partlow Hospital in Tuscaloosa, spent many years as a Girl Scout Leader. delivered Meals on Wheels until last year.
