Joyce R. "Joy" Conway, age 60, of Birmingham, AL passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2014. She was a member of Fairfield Presbyterian Church. Joy retired as a benefit adjuster from the Social Security office of Birmingham after 37 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, William H. Goodman and Julia Goodman Passmore; sister, Elayne Goodman Kyker Ward; brother-in-law, Dr. Jim Ward. Joy is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, John C. "Rick" Conway; brother, William J. Goodman (Eunice); step-brother, Ronnie Passmore (Sharon) nephews, Ken Kyker (Patti), Jerry L. Goodman (Jill) and Chris Goodman (Kim); nieces, Kym Kyker Morris (Bret) and Julie Goodman Ledford (Lewis); several great nieces and great nephews. Funeral service will be held for Joy at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 1st at Jefferson Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville.
