Joyce Bates

Mrs. Joyce A. Bates, age 92, of Irondale, AL passed away on January 13, 2017. She was a member of Thomas Baptist Church and a former member of Irondale Baptist Church for 50 years. She was retired from Woman's Missionary Union and was a Woodlawn High School graduate. She is preceded in death by her husband, Theodore R. Bates, parents, R. Leslie Robison and Carlissa Hill Robison, and sister, Eugenia Robison. She is survived by her daughter, Joy Dickinson Daly (Dr. Robert W. Daly), grandson, Shane E. Paschal (Melodie Braswell), and several nieces and nephews. Interment will be held at a later date at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL. Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville is in charge of arrangements.
