Joy Jennings Thompson

Joy Joan Jennings Thompson, age 89, was born on January 25, 1931, the 4th in a family of 6 girls, to the late William Frederick Howell Jennings and Mittie Tomlinson Jennings. She passed away on January 5, 2021. She was a graduate of Woodlawn High School. She married the love of her life, Henry Helms Thompson on Saturday, February 3, 1951, at her home on 6911 Higdon Road, Birmingham, AL. She is survived by her 3 daughters, her 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 sisters. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 12, at 10 am in the Chapel at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
