Joseph "Bill" Strange

Joseph “Bill” Strange, age 78, of Alpine, passed away on February 27, 2021. He was a member of Hepzibah Baptist Church. Mr. Strange was one of the first paramedics trained in the Birmingham area and he later retired from Homewood Fire Department after 33 years of service. He also enjoyed taking pictures, gardening, and Alabama Football. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Katherine Strange; and his brother, Bob Strange. He is survived by his wife, Judi Strange; his daughters, Tracy Sargent (Ransom McCoy) and Stacy Kirkner (Michael Rauch); his granddaughter, Stephanie Bruce (Shannon); and brother, Jack Strange (Thelma). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 4 at 11am at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville.
