age 89 of Trussville passed into Eternity on May 21, 2014. He was a WWII Veteran with the U.S. Army Air Corps., he retired from L&N RR. He was an active deacon and member of Springdale Baptist Church for 34 years and Huffman Baptist for 20 years. He was President of the PTA at Springdale School. He loved children, was a BIG fan of Alabama Crimson Tide Football and the Atlanta Braves. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Audrey M. Taylor; children, Stephen (Janice Lynn) Taylor, Joette (Phil) Thrower, Janice Anne (Paul) Woodard and Jill (Billy) Thomas; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Services will be held on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 2:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
