Joseph Jefcoat

Joseph Gregory Jefcoat, 65, loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away on June 4, 2015. He went to join his parents Donnie and Annie Clyde Jefcoat and his Father in Heaven. Joe leaves behind his loving family: high school sweetheart and wife of 44 years, Sylvia; son Greg (Jennifer); daughter Heather McHugh (Luke); grandson Will; granddaughter Riley; sister Gay Anne Mann (Charles); and numerous friends and family who loved him dearly. Joe was a true man of God who attended Pinson First Baptist Church and was a member of the Fellowship Sunday School class. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and Alabama Football. He especially loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He ended his successful career with Ferguson Fire. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 8th beginning at 11:00 am at Pinson First Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens.
