Joseph Jackson

Joseph "Herb" Jackson, age 89, of Birmingham, passed away July 19, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Jackson, brother Earl, and sister Bernice. Mr. Jackson was retired from Bell South with 39 years of service and was a Scout Master with Troop 218. He was a member and worked in the administration of 1st United Methodist Center Point. Chapel services will be held on Thursday, July 24, at Noon with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 11am until Noon Thursday. He is survived by his son Jeff Jackson, daughter Martha Jo Jackson, grandchildren Joli Jackson, Holly Hufham, Lauren Love, great grandchild Zoey Love, nieces and nephews Clarence Jensen, Janice Williams, Linda Branden all of Texas, Dana Jackson of Florida, James Parker and Marilyn Edwards of New Mexico and Joseph Jackson.
