Joseph Hooker

Joseph Robert Hooker, age 90 of Birmingham, AL passed away on October 7, 2014. He was a member of Coronado Methodist Church, New Smyrna Beach, FL. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Shriners. He was a passionate pilot. He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Robert Hooker. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Hooker; children, Sharon K. Warren (Larry), Sara King (Marco), Susan Bowling, David Hooker, and Scott Hooker (Melissa); brother, Samuel Hooker; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Memorial service will be on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the home of Mike and Gayle Bingham. Rev. Wendell Meadows will be officiating over the services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
