Jonathan Weaver

July 29, 1961 — July 16, 2021

Pell City, Alabama

On Friday July 16th 2021, Jonathan "Blair" Weaver was called to his eternal home unexpectedly just 13 days before his 60th birthday. Our family and the world lost an incredible Son, Brother, Father, PawPaw, and friend.  Blair was born on July 29th 1961 in North Carolina at a military base to William "Bill" Weaver and Joada Weaver. As a young child his family moved to Birmingham Alabama which is the place he called home for over 50 years. In October 1982 he married his soulmate and the great love of his life Angie and even though sadly they later divorced they have remained lifelong best friends until the end. When they married his life changed when he gained an instant family with his wife and his two chosen bonus children, Sandea who was 9 and Brett who was 4. He always loved them and called and thought of them as his kids until his last breath. In October 1983 the family of 4 became a family of 5 with the arrival of a new baby girl, Tiffany Blair Weaver. The moment he laid eyes on her he was wrapped around her finger. She remained his pride and joy until the day he left his earthly home. If you ever asked Blair, his greatest accomplishment wasn't his successful business, money, his cars or as we called them his "man toys", it was being a father. Throughout his earlier years he found great joy in golfing, fishing, Friday night card games with friends, fixing up hot rods, racing at Lassiter Mountain and Steele, vacationing at the beach, and most of all ALABAMA FOOTBALL.   As his health began to decline in the last few years he moved to Pell City to be close to his daughter and the rest of his family. During this time his passion and greatest joy became his 2 granddaughters, Kallie(16) and Kinley(13) those girls were his world. He left this earth knowing that he was loved beyond measure, appreciated, cherished, and most of all he knew that he would see us all again someday in Heaven.  Blair is survived by his daughter Tiffany Weaver, his two granddaughters Kallie Alexis Strange and Kinley Aidyn Strange, his chosen bonus children Sandea Barber and Brett Barber(Elyssa), his former wife and lifelong best friend Angie Bowers, his eldest brother Blake Weaver(Estella), his youngest brother Blane Weaver(Leigh), many loved nieces, nephews, and a host of many other family and friends. He was proceeded in death by his father William  "Bill" Weaver and his beloved mother Joada Weaver, and both of his maternal and paternal grandparents. Please join us to celebrate the life and legacy of Blair on Thursday July 29th 2021 at Jefferson Memorial at 1pm for visitation with a Celebration of Life following at 2pm. Please wear your favorite Alabama gear(or your favorite sports team) so we can celebrate his life, legacy, and birthday the way he would if he was with us.
