Johnny Henry

Johnny Mack Henry, 80, of Springville, AL, passed away January 28, 2021. After graduating from Ensley High School in January, 1960, Johnny enlisted in the Air Force for four years. He worked at Bell South/ AT&T for 30 years until he retired in December, 1994. He is a member of Ensley Baptist Church and Rogersville United Methodist Church in Rogersville, AL. Johnny is preceded in death by his first wife of 35 years Jeanette Rowland Henry, parents Amos and Kathleen Smith Henry, sisters Virginia Marshall and Liz Craig. Johnny is survived by his wife of 22 years, Sue Campbell Henry; daughters Becky Henry, Renay Burgess (Sherman) and Robyn Lafleur (Tommy). Sons Tim Henry (Denise) and Scott Foust. Grandchildren John McEntrye, Savannah Henry, Ashley Burgess, Logan and Lauryn Lafleur. Great grandsons Gideon McMillian and Samuel Burgess. Johnny will be missed by his special kitty Henry. In lieu of flowers, donations to Johnny’s favorite charity Kitty Kat Haven Rescue, 3432 Old Columbiana Road, Hoover, Alabama 35226, attention: Rita Bowman would be appreciated or the charity of your choice. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 11 A.M. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
