John Trotter

John Trotter, age 83, of Springville, passed away August 25, 2017. He was retired from Eastern Airlines with 35 years of service as an Operations Agent. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Argo, Combat Wounded Korean War Veteran and Purple Heart Recipient. John was actively involved in State Military Order of the Purple Heart and local chapter as Chapter Adjutant and Finance Officer. He was preceded in death by his siblings Francis Johnson, Nora Sims, Fred Trotter, and William Trotter. Church services will be held on Monday, at Central Baptist Church at Noon with visitation from 10am until service time. He is survived by his wife Sara Trotter, sons Dennis Trotter and Eddie Trotter, sister Elizabeth Sanford, brother Donald Wilson, grandchildren Rebecca Trotter Lehman (Andy), Clint Trotter, Derek Trotter (Kala), and Abbey Trotter, great grandchildren John Hollis and Claire Trotter, and NoraKate Lehman. In lieu of flowers make memorials to the Military Order of the Purple Heart, Chapter 2213, 80 Lawrence Drive, Springville, AL 35146 or Central Baptist Church of Argo.
