John Painter

Hal Painter was born in Antioch, TN, son of John Wallace Painter and Bonnie Lee Painter. Survivors include his loving wife Lecky, 6 children Kim (Darren) Deppe, Brandee Gunter (Travis), Haley (Mike) Strickland, Corey (Amanda) Painter, Kristi and Jesse; 12 grandchildren, 3 siblings Cherry (John) Brewer, Sandra (Solly) Brewster and Kenny (Lynnette) Painter as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and brother Danny. He was well known for his carpentry skills and his ability for music and loved Alabama football. The viewing will be held on Wednesday Aug 16 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville from 5-7 pm. A memorial service will be led by Lester Miller at 12 noon on Aug 17.
