John Owen

John R. Owen, age 74, of Remlap, passed away May 10, 2020. He was born in Illinois, retired from US Pipe with 30 years of service in 2008 and was an avid Alabama fan “Roll Tide”. John enjoyed fishing, was a good family man and was preceded in death by his brother George Owen. A memorial service will be on Saturday at 11am at Jefferson Memorial Trussville. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Beverly Owen, daughters Ronda Owen Gouger (David), and Maleia Owen Tortorigi, sister Mary Ann Owen, grandchildren Mitchell Pennington, Sara Gouger, Dominic Tortorigi, Peaches the Cat and Leo the Dog.
