John Nichols

John Mark Nichols, Jr. age 85, of Pinson, AL passed away on May 17, 2012. He attended Palmerdale United Methodist Church. He was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Nichols; sister, Virginia Avery. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Betty H. Nichols; son, James Nichols (Bonnie); daughter, Vicki Self (Ted); grandchildren, John Nichols, III (Tracy), Angela Nichols (Rod), Cindy Self Webb (Darrell), Brad Self (Mallory), Melanie Gignilliat (Bobby), Alex Ashford (Kara); great grandchildren, Cortny, Destiny, Trenton, Tanner, Jessa, and special great granddaughter, Annaka. Services will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 12:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Palmerdale United Methodist Church The Corinthian Fund. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
