John Hardin

John Craig Hardin, age 71 of Birmingham, died Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in Birmingham.

Mr. Hardin was a retired automotive mechanic after more than 30 years of service. Mr. Hardin loved working on automobiles, Nascar racing , yard work and vacationing in Florida. He was loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Mr. Hardin was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Linda McMurray Hardin. Survivors include two daughters, Kim Houston (Jeff) and Cindy Hardin; two grandchildren, Adriene and Blake Houston; great grandson, Brannon Durham; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Monday, July 14, 2014 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with the family receiving friends at the funeral home from 11:45 am until 12:45 pm.
