John Fernandes

John Matthew Fernandes, age 43, of Pinson, passed away on November 17, 2011. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pinson; he was a sincerely caring, giving and loving person. John was an awesome father, husand, and friend. He was loved dearly and will be missed greatly by all. He was preceded in death by his father, John Fernandes; brother, James B. Fernandes; and daughter, Morgan Fernandes. Survivors include his loving wife of 24 years, Pam Fernandes; son, Matt Fernandes; mother, Jo Ann Bowman; sisters, Jan Newbitt (Wayne) & Jill Neuville (Tate); brother, Jack Odell Fernandes (Tamela); brother-in-law, Tim Laughlin (Cindy); as well as a host of loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 12:00PM with burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
