Joel H. Etheredge, IV

Graveside Services for Mr. Joel H. Etheredge, IV, age 72 of Springville, will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 12:30 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Jim Etheredge officiating.

Joel H. Etheredge, IV left this world on April 9, 2025, after a yearlong battle with B-cell Lymphoma. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; his dad, Joel H. Etheredge, III; his mom, Jane Shaw Etheredge as well as his grandparents, Joel H. Etheredge, II and Thelma Clark Etheredge. He is survived by his daughters, Liz (Micah) Simmons and Katherine (Brent) Ulfers, his grandchildren, Tucker and Sophie Simmons; his brothers, Bill (Judy) and Jim (Kay); his Uncle Ronny (Ann); many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Joel graduated from Woodlawn High School and was a partner in JHE Steel before he retired. However, most would say his passion was for bass fishing. Joel won several Bassmaster Tournaments as an amateur as well as numerous other tournament trails; loved to make his own crank baits and never met a lure that he could not catch a fish on. He had a love for antiques, history, and 60s music as well as classic corvettes.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.
