Joe W. Roper age 68 of Springville, AL passed away May 5. 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Roper, his son, Barry Colley, and his brothers, Ellis and Ralph Roper. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 8, 2009 at 12:00p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, May 7, from 5:00-7:00p.m. Survivors include her daughter, Tammy O'Neal of Springville; sons, Kim Colley of Springville, AL and Scotty Roper of Richmond, TX; siblings, Delores Smith, Margaret Mitchell, Luke Roper, Talley "Tag" Roper, Elaine Love, Jean Reid, and Debra Bennett; grandchildren, Megan Colley, Patience O'Neil, Zachary Colley, Kristina Eason, Annie Colley, Tamryn Colley, Patrick O'Neil, and Joseph Roper; great grandchildren, Haylie Eason, Caysen Joiner, and Brayden Eason; several nieces nephews, and a host of loving friends.
