Joe Morse

MORSE, JOSEPH GETTYS, 86, of Margaret, slipped quietly from this life to be

present with the Lord on Sunday, October 18, 2009 leaving

behind three daughters, Sharon (Jim) Derryberry, Joanne (Eddy) Moseley,

Lisa (Jackie) Jimmerson; seven grandchildren, Chris (Malou) Culver, Julie

(Tripp) Hardy, Jason (Staci) Mose-ley, Joseph (Nickie) Moseley, Nicole

(Jonathan) Weaver, Terry (Tracie) Jimmerson, Stacie (Chris) Lind;

15 great-grandchildren, Christian Culver, Ann Morgan and Reed Hardy,

Grace and Mace Moseley, Lindsie Jo and Laralee Moseley, Chloe Weaver,

Cora, Grace, Isaiah and Isaac Jimmerson, Blake, Hunter and Zach Lind;

sister, Retta Ann Soleman, brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Mimi

Simmons; sister-in-law, Anna Morse, a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aileen and Bob Landreth,

wife, Mary Evelyn Morse; brothers, John Morse and Earl Landreth.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2009, 10:00 a.m.

at Jefferson Memorial, Trussville, with burial to follow. Visitation

will be Tuesday, October 20, 5-7 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial,

Trussville. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, Lakeside Hospice, Destiny Christian Church or the charity of your choice.
