Jodie Layton

Jodie Layton, age 89, of Fultondale Alabama, went home to be with the Lord November 16, 2009. He was a member of Robinwood Church of God and was retired from US Pipe after 32 years of service. He is survived by a loving wife of 71 years Eula Bell Manning Layton, sister Ruby Townley, six children Jimmy (Bobbie) Layton, Billy Joe (Carolyn) Layton, Ann (Hubba) Hawkins, Richard (Loretta) Layton, Wallace (JoAnn) Layton and Donald (Debbie) Layton, he was blessed with 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. A loving husband, father and grandpaw that will be truly missed. Services will be Thursday Nov 19, at 12pm in the Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 5 until 7pm Wednesday. The family would like to thank the staff at Jefferson Rehab and Health Center for their love and support. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
