JoAnna Kelley Musulman passed away peacefully on February 6, 2025. She was born on January 18, 1942 in Birmingham Al, and grew up in the Norwood community and attended Phillips High School and Birmingham-Southern College. She worked at Clow Corporation, Huffman Methodist Church, and Alabama School of Fine Arts.
JoAnna was preceded in death by her parents Robert Hoke Kelley, Sr. and Grace Rogers Kelley; husband - Andrew B. Musulman (Buddy); and son Carl Musulman. She is survived by her daughter Kelley Musulman Cole (Jason); grandchildren Andrew Musulman; Anna Kathleen (Katie); Jackson Cole; and Jeremy Cole; siblings - Bob Kelley (Marilyn); Tommy Kelley (Carol), Janet Scott (Jerry); and Judith Stephens; as well as other close family members.
JoAnna especially enjoyed time with her family, as well as trips to Gulf Shores beaches. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother ("Gram"), and wonderful cook. She and Buddy loved dancing/”bopping”. JoAnna was much more than a beloved sister, as she was a devoted big sister to the younger twins Janet and Judith, after the loss of their mother in 1959.
Visitation at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens will be held on Tuesday, February 11 - 5 - 7 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 12 at 12:00 noon, at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
