Jo Ann Frazier

JoAnn Frazier (85) passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday November 14, 2023.  The family will receive friends at Jefferson Memorial Trussville on Tuesday Nov. 21st from 11:00am to Noon with Chapel Service at 12:00 noon. JoAnn is survived by her Son, Chris Frazier (Melissa), Daughter, Genie Woodard (Jonathan), two Grandchildren, Christen Scott (Matthew), Justin Richey (Beth), and two Great-Grandchildren, Brooklynn & Bexley Richey.

 

JoAnn was a long-time resident of Clay, Alabama and graduated from Hewitt-Trussville High School.  She had an especially long career in property management until her retirement at the age of 80 yeas old.  She enjoyed tending the flowers in her yard, spending time with family and friends and cooking Sunday dinners. Her delicious home-made biscuits, fried okra and chicken salad will be sorely missed.  She also enjoyed shopping and had many traveling adventures.  She knew how to have fun and her laughter will be remembered by all who knew her.

 

Her family would like to say a special thank you to her neighbors and the care-giver team that gave their time and love to make her final weeks and days comfortable and peaceful.

 

We know she was looking forward to a heavenly reunion with family and loved-ones that she has not seen in a while.
