Jim Glover, age 78 of Birmingham, AL, died December 6, 2013. He was a graduate of Samford University and had a masters degree from UAB and University of Alabama. The Air Force appreciated his service for four years. Jim's calling was helping children. His 38 year career with the Birmingham school system included teacher, counselor, he finished his career testing children. Jim was a member of Huffman Baptist Church since 1970. He had a deep abiding faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. He was always ready for adventure as exemplified by he and his son driving to Alaska on a camping trip. Jim's surviving family includes his wife, Culleen; daughter, Cindy; son, Kenny and Jim; his twin sister, Joyce; grandsons, Buddy and Ben; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim loved his family and loved life. We will miss him dearly. Visitation will be from 11-12:00 PM Tuesday, December 10 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. The service will begin at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Larry Smith officiating followed by the burial at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
