Jimmy Fordham

Jimmy Howard Fordham, age 76, of Trussville, AL passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at his Trussville home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Washington and Lilla LueElla Fordham. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Shirley Ann Fordham of Trussville, AL; three children, Jimmy D. Fordham (Janie) of Birmingham, Darren E. Fordham (Christy) of Huntsville and Teresa M. Summers (Alan) of Trussville; one sister Vernell Archer of Gadsden, AL. Additionally, he is survived by six (6) grandchildren; Ryan, Richie, Evan, Trey, Ty and Tucker as well as a great grandchild Haddie Grace and many nieces. He lived in Trussville, AL for 24 years and was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church of Trussville, AL. He loved his family and God and leaves this as his legacy. Mr. Fordham graduated from Glencoe High School in 1957 and retired after more than 40 years as a self - employed contractor. Arrangements are being handled by Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (Trussville) where Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 17, from 1:00 - 2:00.
