Jimmie Nix

Jimmie Nix, age 72, entered his heavenly home on July 17, 2018. He was a resident of Tarrant, AL and a member of Palmerdale Cross Baptist Church. He worked for the US Postal Service as a mail carrier for 36 years and after retirement, drove for Enterprise for 14 years. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and camping with family and friends, and enjoyed driving a big truck. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda; daughter, Stephanie Suzanne Nix; son, James Brian Nix (Patricia); step grandson, Coy Parrish (Amanda); great granddaughter, Adyln; sister, Doris Wurtele (Andy); brother, David Nix (Stephany), and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 1pm in the Chapel at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
