Jimmie Ann Holman, 85, passed away peacefully August 8, 2018. A native of Odenville, Al, she graduated from St. Clair County High School. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ester Mize Stanley; husband of 55 years, Henry Flowers Holman; siblings, Eleanor Jackson, Cecilia Webb and Edward Stanley. Jimmie Ann is survived by her children, Kenneth Edward Holman (Joni), Henry F. Holman Jr. (Deleslyn), Melissa Holman Marsh (David); sister, Deborah Ramsey; grandchildren, Kenny Holman (Stacey), Jaime Fulmer (Shane), Joshua Ates (Becky), Jacob Ates (Kasia), Ben Marsh, Ellen Marsh; five great-grandchildren, numberous nieces and nephews, and special friends Sheila Anderson and Laverne McCray, A member of Eastside Baptist Church for more than 60 years, Jimmie Ann was a faithful member of the choir and taught Sunday School. She was an avid Mississippi State fan and made her famous chicken salad for Bulldog tailgates. The family expresses grateful appreciation to the staff of Reed House, St. Martin’s in the Pines; and Dr. Azita Takeshian and the staff of Dialysis Clinic Inc. for their loving care and support. Services will be held Sunday, August 12, 2018 at 3pm at Eastside Baptist Church, 558 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, Al 35235. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
