Jewell Persall

Jewell M. Arnold Persall, age 95 of Birmingham AL, passed away on September 9. 2010. She was preceded in death by four children, Faye Manning, Robert, Wayne and Thomas Persall. Survivors include her six sons, James, Eugene, Clarence, Ricky, Ronald and Johnny Persall and their spouses; daughter in law, Mrs. Faye Persall and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Our mother could not have had a more appropriate name. Not only was she precious to her family, she was also held in high esteem by others whose lives she touched. She did this most diligently while in the service of her God Jehovah, sharing the Bible with everyone she came in contact with. It became her life's vocation, sharing hours of her time each week, month and year talking to people about the good news of God's kingdom and the hope it brings to all mankind. Our mothers name was Jewell, but to us her family, a jewel of such value we will never replace. We love you mom and will miss you each day. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 12 beginning at 1:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Chapel services at 2:00 PM with Roderick Williams officiating and burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
