Jewell Mcalpin

Jewel's life was fueled by her love for God. She lived out loud Matthew 22:37-39. Jesus replied: “love the Lord your God with all you heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Jewel lived a beautiful life of 93 years! Of course, it was full of joy and sorrow, loss and pain, comfort and peace, victories and disappointments. She faced challenges of all kinds with grace and dignity. She and Dad left our family a wonderful legacy of faith, family, friends, and service. Jewel, Mom, Granny - Thank you for loving us so well! Thank you for being a woman after God's heart!
