Jewell House

House, Jewell Ratliff, age 74, of Trussville passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2009. She was a longtime member of Palisades Church of Christ and Central Church of Christ. Mrs. House loved her church and her Lord. She had been a member of the Tuesday morning Ladies Bible class at Palisades Church of Christ. She was very active in the PTA at Holman Grammar School and Woodlawn High School where she served as an officer. She was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Preceding her in death was her husband, James Milton House. She is survived by two sons, Milton Dale House and Mark House and wife Ann both of Trussville; two grandsons, Alex and Matt; and a sister Sara Ratliff Glasshoff of Argo. Visitation will be from 11am until noon on Monday April 13, 2009 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Trussville with the service following at noon. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
