Jewell Gravelle

Jewell Tatum Gravelle, age 77, of Birmingham, died July 29, 2012 at home surrounded by family. Originally from Valliant, Oklahoma, she was retired from AmSouth Bank. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert Sherman Gravelle, Sons and Daughter-in-laws Bradford Lee and Rexie Gravelle, Ralph Allen and Sue Gravelle; Daughters Lynette Montgomery and Deborah Gaudin, all of Birmingham; sisters Marie Dell Hatcher and Helen Rhodes; Grandchildren Jason Gravelle and his wife Jackie, and Christopher Gaudin as well as a host of nephews, nieces and other relations. Mrs. Gravelle was predeceased by her sons Michael Gravelle, Broderick Gravelle, and grandson James "J.D." Montgomery. Memorial services will be Thursday, August 2, at 11:00 am in the Chapel. Father Bill Lucas will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 11:00 am Thursday. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
