Jewel Henley, age 94, went to be with her heavenly father on Wednesday, November 27. She was born in Cleveland, AL and raised on a farm in Locust Fort. In 1955 she married Everette Henley; a reunion that lasted 67 years. In 1962 she joined Ridgecrest Baptist Church where she served as Director of the Preschool area for 40 years among other various capacities. Ms. Jewel was known for her kind and gentle spirit, and was a shining example of what a godly wife and mother should be to many. She was never an idle lady as she was always doing something for her family, church and community. She never stopped working.

She ran the good race God set before her and is now is in heaven where she is reuniting with family and friends. Her servant spirit will be missed.
