Jessie Haynes

Jessie L. Haynes, age 87 of Birmingham, AL passed away on June 26, 2017. He served in the U.S. Army with the 82nd Airborne Paratroopers. He retired from Ryder PIE after 55 years of service. He was recognized for driving 3 million miles without a accident. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jewel Haynes and his son, Randall Haynes. He is survived by his children, Connie Haynes Weems (Dane), Ricky Haynes (Lacie) and Brenda Sue Smith; grandchildren, Bryan Smith, Jesse Haynes, Justin Haynes, Morgan Haynes and Ricky Haynes, II; great grandchildren, Cady Smith, Sarah Smith and Ann-Claire Smith; sister, Doris Sellers (Leon). Services will be on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 10 AM at Jefferson Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. Larry Hicks will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
