Jessie Cook

Jessie I. Cook, age 93 of Birmingham, AL passed away on December 24, 2013. She was formerly of Tazwell, TN and she retired from New Ideal Department Store after 38 years of service. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn I. Cook and her son, Billy Ray Clifton. She is survived by her grandson, Billy Ray Clifton, Jr.; 2 great grandsons; step-daughters, Judy Tarrant (Frank) and their children, Lisa, Laura, and Michael and Jan Lowery (Jakie) and their children, Leigh Ann and Chris; 8 step-great grandchildren; best friend and caregiver, Sue Roth and many other friends. Graveside services will be on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 2:30 PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be an hour prior to services at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.
