Jessica Johnson

Jessica "Lorie" Johnson: age 37, after a valiant twenty month battle with breast cancer, Lorie passed from this earth on January 25, 2009. She was a loving wife, mother, and daughter, and witness for the Lord to all, and Heaven rejoices at her coming home. She was raised in Mobile, Alabama, and currently resided in Chelsea, Alabama. She was a graduate of Samford University, employee of Regions Bank, and a member of Double Oak Community Church, Mt. Laurel, AL. She was the daughter of Brenda Hobby & the late Charles Hobby. She leaves behind to cherish her precious memories: husband, Daryl W. Johnson; sons: Noah Bryant Johnson (2 1/2) yrs.) and Zachary Tanner Johnson (1 1/2 yrs); grandmother-in-law, Helen Bryant (Birmingham, AL); mother and father-in-law, Sherry and Kenneth W. Johnson (Trussville, AL); and sister-in-law, Daisy Johnson (Leeds, AL); niece, Isabelle Costa (Leeds, AL); and other extended family members, and a host of friends. In lieu of flowers gifts may be made for Noah & Zach's education and sent to Daryl W. Johnson, 2298 Forest Lakes Lane, Sterrett, AL 35147. Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 27th from 6:00-8:00 PM at Double Oak Community Church, Mt. Laurel (County Road 41). Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 28th at 2:00 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Overstreet officiating, with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
