Jesse Nichols

Jesse M. Nichols "Nick", age 84 of Trussville, AL surrounded by his family passed away on March 24, 2016. He was born in Selma, AL to Jesse E. Nichols and Kathleen Luker on March 30, 1931. He married Betty Bevis on July 1, 1955 and created their own career in the restaurant business by owning 5 Pasquale's in the Birmingham area and then opened Nick's Italian in Center Point and Trussville. He was a member of First Baptist Church Trussville. He was a member of the Shriners and he served in the U.S. Air Force. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Bevis Nichols and his daughter, Laurie Lynn McClain. He is survived by his son, Alan Nichols; sister, Lorraine; brothers, Reuben (Willie Mae) and Gene (Blanch); grandchildren, Taylor Nicole Bradberry (Chris) and Audrey Renae Nichols; great grandchildren, Christin, Hunter and Deanna Bradberry and Avery E. Pope, Jr. Services will be on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 12 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
