Jeremy Holladay

August 21, 1970 — August 15, 2023

Jeremy Eugene Holladay, went to be with Jesus, at the age of 52, on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. Jeremy was born in Tuscaloosa County on August 21, 1970, to the late Aubrey Eugene Holladay and Judy Cadenhead Holladay. He was a member of the Alabaster community for over 20 years and was deeply passionate about his family, friends, church community, and work associates. He was a proud business owner who devoted 30+ years of his life to HVAC services.

He is survived by his wife, Liz Whitten Holladay, his sons, Tyler Hosmer (Haley), and Jeremiah; his daughters Whitteny and Aimee; his bonus grandson Jaden; his granddaughter, Adalynn; his dog Dorothy and his cat Flash. He will be remembered as a loving Husband, Father, Boss, Mentor, Friend, and avid Alabama Football Fan.

Jeremy’s mission in life was to spread the Gospel to everyone he ever met. As the son of pastors, he was very devoted to missions, especially his family’s legacy with Chris Okumu of Soweto Academy, in Kenya, Africa. He was a member of Church of the Highlands Alabaster, led many small groups and ushered on Sundays.

The family will receive friends on Saturday August 19, 2023, at the Worship Center at First Baptist Church Alabaster. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. and Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2 p.m. There will be a private burial for the family held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to United Full Gospel in care of Chris Okumu to support the children and school in Africa. Mailing address: 1009 26th Ave Northport, AL 35476
