Jennifer Burnett

Jennifer Leigh Murphree Burnett, age 39 of Monroeville, AL passed away on April 1, 2015. She was formerly of Trussville. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She was a member of First Baptist Trussville. She graduated from Auburn University in 1999. She worked with the Birmingham Business Journal and the Birmingham News. She was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her, from the day she was born. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Rev. Amos M. Murphree. She is survived by her husband, Trey Burnett; daughter, Ava James Burnett; parents, Paul and Janet Murphree; brother, Jonathan Murphree (Jayna); grandparents, Mac and Bonnie McKee and Mildred Murphree; mother and father-in-law, James M. and Brenda Burnett; very special niece, Jon-Elyn Murphree; loving companion, Beau Burnett; host of loving family and friends who loved her more than life itself. Memorial services will be on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 2 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Rev. Bobby Erwin will be officiating over the services.
