Jennie Savage

Jennie DeGrado Savage of Roebuck, AL passed away January 26, 2012. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church for over 45 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Sam P. Savage. She was the last sibling of 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Survivors are daughters Rose Ivey (Tom) and Nancy Stewart (James). Grandchildren Beth Gilbert (Greg), Jimmy Hobart (Bethany), Jason Hobart, Brian Stewart (Leighann). Great-grandchildren Justin and Brady Hobart, Lea Grace Gilbert and Alden Casey. A very special sister in law and friend Rosalie Eubanks. Numerous caring and loving nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM January 31, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic, Huffman, AL. Father Andrew Kennedy officiating. Burial will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing. Visitation will be held Tuesday January 31, 2012 at the church from 9:00AM - 11:00AM. We had a loving Mother, loving Memaw, true friend to neighbors and her church family. Her home was always open. She was a special lady that took pride in her family and loved the Lord. Our blessing is she joins her loved ones in heaven and that gives us great comfort. She will be greatly missed.
