Jeffrey S. Putman, age 36, of Birmingham, passed away March 2, 2011. Jeff was a loving and playful father- he loved his daughters more than anything in this world. He loved the Lord and loved praise and worship music. Jeff was always the first one with a joke or laugh and his heart's desire was to make each person's day a little better when he saw them. He is survived by his wife Marilyn Putman, daughters Etta and Lizzie, mother Peggy Putman, father in law and mother in law Max and Mildred Coker, sister Michelle (Spencer) Dudley, brothers Greg Storey and Brian (Karen) Storey, grandmother Ethel Pruitt, nieces Zealyn Dudley, Ashlynn Storey, Christen Storey, Sydney Storey, and Ashton Coker, nephews Justin Storey and Brent Coker. He was preceded in death by his father Halbert Putman and niece Laura Ashley Storey. He was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Scottsboro was his home church. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama. Services will be on Friday March 4, at 3pm in the Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Brother Roy McNeil officiating. Visitation will be from 1pm until 3pm Friday. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
