Jeanne Leigh Walker

Jeanne Leigh Walker, passed away in Birmingham on October 15, 2023. She was a remarkable woman known for her passion for life, loving spirit, and sense of humor. Jeanne's life will be forever cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Born on May 24, 1964, in Birmingham, Jeanne quickly developed a passion for the beauty industry. She worked tirelessly to perfect her skills and eventually opened her own nail salon. Who's Lookin became a place of solace and rejuvenation for many individuals seeking self-care and pampering. Jeanne's attention to detail and warm personality made every visit an exceptional experience.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jeanne was a loving grandmother, affectionately called "Grammy" by her grandchildren Savannah, August, and Jameson. Grammy Jeanne had a special bond with each of them and created lifelong memories. Her unconditional love knew no bounds.

She is preceded in death by her father, Wayne Walker; grandmother, Robena Walker; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Sparks.

Jeanne leaves behind her mother, Linda Walker; children, Noah Weaver (Arielle), Tessney Weaver; step-daughter, Laurie Johnson; father of her children, Lynn Weaver; brothers, Wayne Walker (Hether) and Howard Walker; grandchildren, Savannah, August, and Jameson; nieces and nephews, Chandler Walker, Jackson Walker, Kate Lynn Walker and Lauren Walker.

The family will receive friends on October 20, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. Following the visitation, a celebration of life will take place at the same location at 2:00 PM. Burial will conclude at Forest Hill Cemetery.

Jeanne Leigh Walker will be dearly missed by all who knew her.  As we honor her life and legacy, let us also remember the joy, love, and positivity she shared with everyone around her.
